Fra le notizie pi\u00f9 incalzanti c&#8217;\u00e8 quella dell&#8217;ormai duratura battuta d&#8217;arresto di un colosso come <strong>Expedia<\/strong>, mentre societ\u00e0 come <strong>Booking.com<\/strong> e <strong>TripAdvisor<\/strong> continuano a guadagnare fette di mercato e a crescere a vista d&#8217;occhio.<\/p>\n<p>Proprio lo scorso Luglio Expedia ha avvisato il mondo di un<strong> crollo<\/strong> netto di circa il <strong>32%<\/strong> sui tutti i suoi guadagni, fortunatamente l&#8217;ottimo investimento fatto con l&#8217;acquisto di Trivago, che \u00e8 cresciuto di circa l&#8217;<strong>80%<\/strong> rispetto allo scorso anno, lo rende ancora molto forte e massicciamente <strong>presente sul mercato<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La societ\u00e0 americana ha evidenziato come gran parte delle quote perse siano dovute alla trasformazione di TripAdvisor in c<strong>omparatore di prezzi per hotel<\/strong>, che ha causato questa grande battuta d&#8217;arresto, proprio per questo motivo tra le imminenti strategie di Expedia c&#8217;\u00e8 quella di lavorare al fine di guadagnare le prime posizioni proprio su TripAdvisor, come ci indica <strong>Tnooz<\/strong>, pianificando ingenti investimenti in pubblicit\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Se in <strong>America<\/strong> non sono soddisfatti,<strong> in casa tedesca<\/strong> le cosa vanno decisamente meglio, i risultati dell&#8217;ultimo quadrimestre dell&#8217;anno sono molto soddisfacenti non solo per quanto riguarda i guadagni, che grazie alla nuova modalit\u00e0 di meta-motore sono in vertiginoso aumento, ma anche in termini di traffico sul sito, i navigatori mensili sono cresciuti del <strong>57%<\/strong>, per un totale di <strong>220 milioni<\/strong>, non \u00e8 un segreto che la maggior parte di questo successo sia dovuto alle app. per mobile, circa l&#8217;<strong>80%<\/strong> di quei dati di traffico derivano da <strong>smartphone e tablet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ormai \u00e8 senza dubbio che la migliore acquisizione degli ultimi anni, nel settore del <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hotelmanager.net\/it\/tag\/turismo-online\/\">turismo online<\/a>, sia stata quella di Priceline quando decise di comprare Booking.com, infatti la piccola societ\u00e0 olandese \u00e8 la responsabile diretta di oltre la met\u00e0 di quei <strong>5.53 miliardi<\/strong> annui di guadagno, del <strong>big americano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Nel vecchio continente Booking.com \u00e8 ormai<strong> leader indiscusso<\/strong>, le commissioni pi\u00f9 basse e il fatto che i soldi non vengono detratti subito all&#8217;acquirente, sono stati i fattori vincenti di questo dominio incontrastato, la stessa Expedia sta aggiustando il tiro in questa direzione, appunto sulla scia vincente del suo <strong>diretto competitor.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fonte<\/strong> ufficiale:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/hotelmarketing.com\/index.php\/content\/article\/expedia_q2_net_down_32_as_higher_costs_offset_revenue_growth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/hotelmarketing.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I nuovi scenari che si aprono nel mercato del travel online, hanno alcune novit\u00e0 ma tante certezze.
