There is a great demand among business travelers for a place to stay. They have some unique requests, which are different than those of leisure travelers. Hotels must not just be homes, they need to serve as offices, too. Hotels worldwide have understood this and are now offering proper amenities for their business travelling guests. There are work-related amenities such as on-site business centers with courier and printing service, meeting and conference rooms, and in-room workstations among others. There are spas business travelers can visit to relax after a day of meetings and restaurants to entertain potential clients. These things are attract business travelers from across the world.

ProntoHotel.com has completed a survey of some outstanding business hotels from across the world. ProntoHotel.com’s list of the 24 top business hotels in the world includes names from all the continents, and details the amenities and facilities they offer to business guests. One interesting observation is that, the majority of these hotels are in Asia, perhaps indicating a shift in the entire business world.  As business dealings grow in Asia, the demand for newer, more advanced hotels to accommodate business travelers in Asia has also grown.  Some of these new business hotels are huge, with conference rooms, restaurants, and spas, while others are smaller boutique properties that offer a more personalized experience.

The number of Asian business hotels on the ProntoHotel list is 13, and they include hotels from Bangkok to Tokyo, Abu Dhabi to Kuala Lampur.  Two brands make repeat appearances on the list of top new business hotels in Asia, and they are Four Seasons and Hyatt, indicating a growth in luxury business brands.  It should also be noted that Another Hyatt, Park Hyatt Hotel in Sydney, was the only new business hotel selected for Australia, showing that the brand is also expanding outside of Asia.

The next big winner on ProntoHotel’s list is Europe, from which six new business hotels were chosen.  Unsurprisingly, London had the most hotels on the list with three: The Ampersand, the InterContinental, and South Place.  Rounding out ProntoHotel.com’s list of the best new business hotels are the Americas, with only four hotels, just one of them being in New York City.

Most of these new business hotels are located in city centers, close to the main business districts. Convention centers, offices, shopping, historic sites, and landmarks are close enough. They are standing out because of the location, quality of rooms, and the service offered for their business guests. It was certainly a tight contest, as many landmark properties and absolutely fine hotels weren’t able to make it to this list.
