Our Company Is Growing
On November 1, 2006, Buffets Inc. was thrilled to join forces with Ryan's
Restaurant Group, Inc. This adds over 295 Ryan's Grill Buffet and Bakery®
and Fire Mountain Grills® in 23 states to the Buffets family. Ryan's
Restaurant Group opened its first restaurant in 1978, and has continually
been committed to serving high-quality food at affordable prices in a
friendly, family-style atmosphere.
History
Our commitment to quality started back when Roe Hatlen and C.
Dennis Scott founded their first Buffets restaurant in 1983. Their
dream was to build a restaurant based on a few basic beliefs:
quality, value and service. With these basic beliefs, and the help
of many talented,
motivated
individuals, the two built a thriving buffet restaurant chain. The
company is headquartered in Eagan, Minnesota and is now one of the
nation’s largest restaurant chains. Today, our founders’ same
commitment to a few basic beliefs lives on in over 600 restaurants
